The biggest plus point of dropshipping is that it is a low-risk business model. You do not have to pay for the products in advance and there is no cost for storage. Meaning you can start with low or absolutely zero investment. This is a low-risk, high-reward approach that allows you to test different products and stock only the best-selling products in your store.

Using automation tools can easily scale your business. If you choose the right products, work with trustworthy suppliers, and provide good customer service, dropshipping can be a successful business.
Challenges in Starting a Dropshipping Business
Most people quit their e-commerce journey because they have trouble finding products or building a store. If you want to build your own store on Shopify, it’s honestly difficult. And if you hire someone, you will have to spend money – up to $100, $150, $200. Meaning it seems to be a no-go from both sides. That’s why I thought of exploring AliDropship and some other options. Let’s try one by one.
Exploring AliDropship: An Overview
What Is AliDropship?
From the name AliDropship itself, it seems that it is directly connected with AliExpress. There you get the data of best products which perform well. But I will not trust it 100% because sometimes they can also push their flop items to the users. I have not heard of such a thing yet, but the possibility is there. Let’s focus on the positive things for now.
Benefits of AliDropship’s Free Trial
The first good thing is that you get a free 14-day trial. Meaning you can try it without spending any money to see if it will work for you or not. Just explore the page, they will tell you how much you can earn from AliExpress dropshipping. And I will be honest right from the beginning – nothing will be special in the beginning. Every beginning is tough. If you don’t have experience before, then don’t expect to earn lakhs or thousands of dollars in the first month.
Using AI to Simplify Dropshipping
And there is no need to take any course, because now there is AI which tells you which product to buy, where to put it, and will even prepare the content. Everything has become streamlined. This work is not difficult, the only difficult thing is to fight the competition. There is a lot of competition in Dropshipping. If you are not consistent, do not work daily, do not take time to understand yourself, do research and see how others are doing it, then success is difficult. So it is important to be mentally ready.
How to Get Started with AliDropship
If you want to try AliDropship then just Google it. I am not an affiliate with them. Click on “Start for free”. The website looks a bit old, I don’t like it either, but you can take a trial by clicking on “Get all for free”. Amazon business will also be mentioned there. You will have to enter your credit card information, but don’t worry – it will cost absolutely $0 for the first 14 days.
Choosing Your Niche and Products
You will choose your niche and yes, the site is good because you can put multiple products on your page where people can click and buy. But the thing I did not like at all is that when I went to the product section, which is for searching products, there also you have to pay for everything. For example, there is an option called “1,000+ new best sellers every month”, the monthly subscription for that is $50, just so that you can get 1,000 new products every month.
Additional Costs with AliDropship
Then there is another option below, for $119, a one-time payment which is for “iconic fashion pieces for fall”. Meaning, there are different product packs for each season, some with one-time payment, some with monthly subscription. You can imagine that you will have to pay for products or themes for every niche. This is the thing I did not like at all about AliDropship – you have to pay for almost everything.
An Alternative: Atlas for Single-Product Stores
This is why I use Atlas. Atlas offers a free trial, there will be a charge later, but it is best for a single-product store. You don’t need thousands of products on a single homepage, you are not Walmart. Atlas takes a link from AliExpress and converts it into a single-product page, where people make impulse buys. It is quite effective.
Setting Up Atlas with Shopify
You will need a Shopify account for Atlas. Just connect it, open Atlas AI store builder, click on “proceed”, pick up the product link from AliExpress and paste it. Your one product store will be created.
Creating a Single-Product Store
Now go to AliExpress and choose your product (like a bicycle). Just click on it, copy the link from your browser and paste it here. Enter the link of AliExpress, click on the “proceed” button, and it will create a product page for you. Quite cool, isn’t it?
How to Get Started with Atlas
Really cool. You just have to search “helloatlas.io” on Google. Click on “Try Atlas for Free” there and connect your Shopify account. If you already have a Shopify account, just click on the button, if not, you can create one for free. And if you are starting a completely new business, you can get Shopify for just $1 for the next three months.
Tips for Success in Dropshipping
The process is simple, but remember that doing all this requires time, experience and practice. The good thing is that you do not need to invest much upfront. You have to pay for the products only when they are on sale, which is a good option for practice and learning.
